Progress on our Tennessee barndominium is well underway, and it’s starting to feel like home! Despite the chaos of a construction site, we are excited about the transformation taking place. In this update, we’ll highlight the key developments that have occurred over the past month.

Interior Updates

Inside the barndominium, significant progress has been made. We recently had friends come over to assist with hanging the tongue and groove, giving the space a polished and cohesive look. While there is still some trim work to be done, the overall aesthetic is turning out beautifully.

One notable achievement is the installation of our first set of doors. They may not be flawless, but for a first-timer, we’re proud of the results. With the exception of some closet doors, all of the doors are in place. Additionally, we’ve successfully installed the cabinets, which were expertly chosen to complement the overall design.

Kitchen Area

The kitchen area is taking shape, and we have more exciting updates. After exploring different countertop options, we decided to go with granite countertops from Granite Creations in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.
